The True Compass Advantage
Unique Assessment Process

True Compass offers unique assessment tools that help you objectively see yourself - your talents, your core personality traits. The aptitude assessment we utilize requires completion of timed exercises that helps you understand how you are wired.

Personalized Approach

Assessment tools on their own do not always tell the whole story. We want to get to know you as an individual and understand you as a whole person. The value of what we offer is in our personalized approach to each client, guiding you through the interpretation of assessment tools to help you determine which aspects are most meaningful to your unique situation. Tools alone do not always present a clear picture. We want to get to know you as an individual and use these assessments as tools to help you know yourself.

Education and Certification: B.A. University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana M.A. Temple University, Philadelphia Certified Highlands Ability Consultant, Certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator
I am passionate about helping others discover and celebrate their strengths and find careers that are best suited to them. I am certified in assessment instruments including the Highlands Ability Battery and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I have helped hundreds of students and adults make career decisions with confidence by guiding them through the True Compass assessment process.
For 25 years I worked with children and families as a speech language pathologist, where I provided assessments and treatments and consulted with families and teachers to help serve students in schools and clinics.
I am also the mother of four children. As they began their search for college majors and careers, I sought out aptitude testing and found it invaluable. I loved learning about my own children through these tools and the discussions they sparked, and I became fascinated with empowering others with self-awareness through the use of tools such as aptitude assessments and personality measures.
I also saw the need for a personalized approach when using such tools and began working with Robyn Jackson to develop a comprehensive and personalized approach to helping clients understand their natural gifts and preferences.
